When, if ever, do you think Gatts will go 100% berserk?
Do you think it'll ever happen or will his companions be able prevent it?? Assuming it does happen, when do you speculate the demon will take full control?

If i had to guess it would be when/if he fights Zodd after being fully restored while wielding the berserk armor.

I'd say I' d he'd go truly berserk if they couldn't fix Casca at Elfem Island or is he sees Griffith again

At the climax of the story. At least, that is the point when he'll be the most in danger. He will probably make some sort of realization, and be able to retain his ego somehow. Though, he could still be in berserk mode at the same time, he could avoid entering it all together, I can't say.

Zodd probably won't cause this though. I haven't seen that Zodd makes Guts particularly emotional.

I think Berserk will end with Guts going completely insane, killing Griffith and dieing in the process.

When he goes fully berserk, he's going straight for Caska. Hellhound's threatened this several times.


It may end up that as Guts tries to further bury the emotions that Hellhound personifies, he will make Hellhound stronger (he already is getting stronger anyway). Once he's strong enough to overpower Guts' conscious mind and Schierke's magic, you could call that "fully berserk". I think it's going to happen sooner than later.

wait what? the hell hound threatened to go for griffith not caska, it was just saying that she's in the way of his revenge while he was traveling with only her alone
also the hell hound has said that once his companions which includes caska all die, it will take over and go straight for griffith

I got the vibe that he's going to set Guts' priorities straight by killing Guts' party himself next time he gets off his leash.

The reason I think he's implicitly making a threat is because it seems out of character for something that's made of rage and hate to say "oh gee, I hope something kills your comrades soon. Until then I'll just wait patiently." I personally think that if he has a shot at speeding their deaths (IE: he gets out), he'll take it. That's just me and that's just my theory.
