Alright so one gripe with the game is that it starts a bit slow on the gameplay. You're limited to using only two skills in the beginning and there's 0 customization involved. And the skilling in the early game is the least of your worries, it takes a long time since you get a decent item build.

That aside, once you've got a decent item build and got a couple of skills to choose from, you're ready to have a lot of fun. The game is really easy at first and you can run around with any build you want, but soon you'll have to make some choices about your spell build and you'll probably end up trying to get items that serve your primary attribute as well as vitality, because naturally having more hp is pretty handy.

Crafting is pretty fun! And I'm starting to like the auction house since you can pretty much find everything you need there. Gems, crafting items, scrolls to upgrade your smith or the gem guy... The real money auction is not yet open, I'm sure they'll need to tweak it a lot to make it work.

About the presentation: I don't like the blurry graphics, some might but if you have a problem with it, find a sharpening filter for the game and it looks a lot more like a game I'd play. One thing I love is how easily accessible the lore in the game is. You just click on a journal scroll and it starts reading immediately. Also if you kill a new enemy you'll see a "New lore!" button in the right bottom of the screen, and by clicking it you'll hear some trollish lore about the creature. Beats the codex crap that's in all the bioware games these days.

Some thoughts about the plot, difficulty curve, bosses etc., act by act:

SPOILER ALERT

Act I

[spoiler:3si4pt7r]Pretty easygoing, but then again so was Diablo 2 in act 1. A lot of stuff you might remember from the previous Diablos, like King Leoric, Lachdanan, Adria and even Gharbad the Weak. As far as the scenery goes, I think they did a fine job. Just love going through catacombs and cathedrals and graveyards.

The boss fight was pretty epic, it's the good old butcher, though I'm not sure if Blizzard took the idea of the hook attack from DotA since a hero called butcher had this hook that could drag opponents to him. Oh well, was a pretty nice bossfight nevertheless!

And I reaaally liked the ending cinematic for this act:

[youtube:3si4pt7r]http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zqaUxSvAVdc[/youtube:3si4pt7r][/spoiler:3si4pt7r]

Act II

[spoiler:3si4pt7r]Alright imma go out to these deserts and rape some foes. Oh wait I'm getting raped! Well that's okay, I just switch my build a little and it's all cool. Yeah apart from the starting shock this act is pretty easy. Not much to say about it though, it was a nice act as far as the story goes, lots of trollish characters, like mr. obvious-betrayal. The bossfight vs Belial was pretty fun, had me running a lot.

Although not as good as the previous act ending, here's the cinematic ending for this chapter too:

[youtube:3si4pt7r]http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7liSrcK54j0[/youtube:3si4pt7r][/spoiler:3si4pt7r]

Act III

[spoiler:3si4pt7r]Starts out nice with some variety, you're running around the castle walls defending the demon siege attack. Act 3 was a lot of fun, I even died my first death (mainly due to my own greed, went chasing a treasure goblin and got jammed between dozens of big monsters :( ). The final boss Azmodan was a disappointment, like the easiest bossfight imaginable. This might be because I was the wizard, might be a lot harder with a melee class.

And after the boss fight Adria betrays us and Diablo is summoned once again, Leah being the vessel. Kinda saw this coming, but Diablo's plot never was about surprising plot twists. Following a pretty cool cinematic:

[youtube:3si4pt7r]http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6fR-5PXsgVs[/youtube:3si4pt7r][/spoiler:3si4pt7r]

Act IV

[spoiler:3si4pt7r]At this point I was feeling pretty eager to finish the game so I did the last act in one sitting. And this time I actually ended up dying a lot, and encountered the hardest fight in the game (or at least felt like it); Izual. The problem was that one of his attacks onehitted me, so I just had to hope that he wouldn't hit me. But yeah I ended up winning him when I changed my spells to a pretty defensive build (3 defensive spells in total). Diablo himself was a fun bossfight although I didn't die to him. The only boss that managed to kill me was Izual xD

And the ending cinematic for Diablo III, nothing special, it's your typical game ending troll cinematic. Though yes Tyrael is pretty epic.

Finally: Blizzard, what the hell is up with a wall of text credits with no music!? Explain to me!!!]]>
